Why use FedEx when there are cheaper alternatives?

I have not received my replacement card and was offered  to have my card shipped through FedEx. I decided to try once again regular mail since FedEx fees range from $85 to $120. I don't know about the rest of the people, but that's a lot of money to me. With $85, I can buy over 100 cans of milk or 35 kilos of chicken where I live.

I don't understand why Payoneer does not use registered mail to send the cards. It won't cost more than $20 and we will be sure to get our cards.

here the same problem from Peru. I asked for my replacement card (for 2nd time) and i asked to use Fedex. I didnt receive any confirmation or anything.

queria preguntarte cuando pediste la tarjeta por primeta vez? en mi caso fue a fines de mayo ni bien me llego el email y si la tarjeta q te llego fue la 2da q pediste? pagaste fedex o via normal? demoro lo mismo?
Disculpa las preguntas pero aun no me llega la 1era y no se  si gastarme los $ para q me la manden via fedex

Te contesto a pesar de que la pregunta va dirigida a otra persona.

Solo pedí la tarjeta una vez (a fines de mayo) y me llegó el sábado 24 de julio. La verdad que yo no quería pagar esos $85 - como ya dije antes es un montón de plata - e iba a pedir otra por correo normal. Te diría que te esperes unos días. Con esto de las Fiestas Patrias quizás se haya quedado por ahí la tarjeta. El sobre procede de Suecia.
