Hello,

I am Intkhab Ahsan from Pakistan.I am working as freelancer and recently I have noticed that the Payoneer has increased activation charges and withdrawal charges just they got Fiverr as a partner.

Due to this Payoneer has increased their charges.I have received my Payoneer Master Card in July 2012 and at that time activation charges were just $12 and ATM withdrawal charges were $2 but now it has been increase as activation charges $40 and withdrawal charges are $2.I have requested to Payoneer Customer Support but they even didn't reply yet.

Even they didn't have added some lines of code at Fiverr for those who already have this card they just want to distribute new cards to new as well as existing card holders.

So you can imagine how they are getting benefits instead of facilitating the people.

Hi Intkhab!

Payoneer hasn't increased fees, we just have different fee structures. Most of our partners have a fee structure that includes a one-time activation fee of $12.95 and a maintenance fee of $3 per month. We now have second fee structure where there is no activation fee and no monthly fee, but a flat annual fee of $29.95. I am guessing that you signed up through our homepage and not through Fiverr, which is why you are seeing different fees. The ATM fee is also $3.15 like our usual fee.

As we have mentioned before, some partners have lower activation fees or ATM fees because they subsidize part of them, but what I wrote above are the way the fees are set up.

Please let me know if there's anything else we can help you with.

Hello,

Thank you for your response. Before the activation of the card I read all the terms and conditions and fee structure so that there would be no hidden charges. After that I activated it and really shocked by seeing the deduction of $40. Then I contacted to the Customer Support and got this reply.

Dear Intkhab,

Thank you for your email.

According to our system you were charged and activation fee of $39.95 and not the annual account maintenance which is different. You may check this in accordance by logging into My account and going to pricing and fees.

Sincerely,

Sofia

Payoneer Customer Support"

I also quote the messages that your community manager have posted on Pakistani guy blog that you are not deduct annual fee in advance and you just deduct $12.95. Every statement came from your side differ from each other.

Now I understand its just because we have issues with Paypal account in Pakistan and you are taking benefit of this by getting extra charges and hidden charges.

As you are the Director, I am hoping that you will compensate me in this matter.

Hi Intkhab,

I checked your account and all of our records. Since you registered in May, the annual fee for the high risk countries, including Pakistan, was $39.95 instead of $29.95. (When you register with a partner, Pakistan is among the countries with higher activation fees as well.) This was a pending charge from the moment you registered for the card, even though you hadn't yet begun using it.

Regarding the comment we had on that forum, it was either me or Nissim, most likely, and the statement was correct - the cards through a partner have an activation fee that is set according to the partner. The card you registered for is the Payoneer card. We charge an annual fee instead of a monthly fee and activation fee, and it's regardless of what country you come from. Now it's the same fee for everyone, but the charge is automatic based on the site you registered from (not your country, unless you are on the list of 20 or so countries with the higher activation fees). In this particular case, since you registered when the fee was still $39.95, that's the fee you were charged.

It's not that I don't want to help you, but we can't change fees for each person who read something somewhere once. We charge fees based on the site you signed up with on the date you signed up.
