Tehnical support isue

Does anybody know, is it common to have more than one reference number regarding one technical support request?

I have problem with missing payment (money was transfered more than one month ago, but newer shoved up on my account. I have provided all requested information (screenshot of transaction, trace number, company data…), and still nothing).

And after analyzing my communication with tech support, I realized that same case was under these reference numbers:
What is the reason for that? If I understand it correctly, every case is under one reference number, until tech support close the case?
And I wasn’t starting new cases, I was always just replying on tech support mails.
