your SCB exchange rate is 95.47

    ($265 - $3.15 = $261.85)

    25000 / 261.85 = 95.47

You are withdrawing 261.85 not 265

How come the transaction fees be $3.15, i thought it was $2.15 ( Rs200)

feels like Payoneer is expensive as compared to wire transfers, with all the fees etc

Hello Guys Today I had A Cash Withdrawal.

Mai Normally MCB use kerta hun and it works fine for me But today I went for Standard Chartered (Near Bait ul Mukkaram Masjid, Gulshan e Iqbal, Karachi) coz mujhay 30K withdraw kerne thay and MCB ki one time withdrawal limit 20K hai.

So here you go. I withdraw rs 30,000/- from SCB, and $318.06 were deducted from my card.

I personally feel that SCB has good rates as compared to MCB. Can anyone calculate k mujhay SCB ne kya rate dia hai?  As far I know $3.15 is the transaction fee and how much SCB charge on per withdrawal.

    Let me know Thanks.

    Hassam From Karachi.

SCB rate of exchange was 95.27

    Calculation is very simple.

    $318.06

    -    $3.15

    $314.91

Divide 30,000 with 314.91 and you will get 95.27

    30,000 / 314.91 = 95.27

    Hope it help you.

Yes Dear I got that. But I wonder SCB don't deduct any charges for withdrawal. While MCB has a fees of Rs 200.

Guys also you note calculated Master Card fees When a transaction is made as a foreign transaction or is requested in a currency other than USD, charges of up to 3% may be  assessed by MasterCard for the transaction.

Payoneer Card is not accepted here on MCB/ Faysal Bank and other banks ATM's

Almost 6 months ago i used MCB and Faysal bank but now they give geenral processing error/ dont accept Payoneer Card

Only ATM which is accepting Payoneer card STANDARD CHARTERED (International ATM)

Does it happen with SCB and MCB  banks as well? since what if i try all banks for differnt transactions and next time these banks decline and at the end i have no bank to withdraw money? Any help. I am afraid of using it since

Due to insufficient fund or any other reason, if ATM machine decline withdraw, $1 will be deducted from your balance.  Transaction list at payoneer update every 6 hours. If you check your transactions again,  you will surely see "Fee-ATM Withd Intl Decline" history.

    2 Questions please,

1> What is the process of withdrawal of Rs. 20,000+ from SCB? You incert payoneer debit card, input pin, then select what out of "Quick cash", "Current account", "Saving Account" and "Other payment" options.

2> How I can verify my pin after I login to my Payoneer account? (I don't want to change it, I just want to know what is my pin)

    1. insert card, type your pin code, choose Current Account OR checking account, select 20000 from screen. If it is not visible or available, click on other amount and type 20000 manually, take your card, take your money and enjoy...

    2. To verify your pin, type it after inserting card into atm machine, if accepted then it is correct otherwise wrong. If you forget your pin, contact support for help. Trying any card with several wrong pin code will block card.

i withdraw amount every week from SCB ATM, (Standard Charted Bank) it is also known as international bank, and it is best atm, their currency conservation rate also very good. :) I would suggest you to always use SCB even it's far from your home, but go there and always use it.

    1. Find out interbank buying rate of dollar. You can search "pakistan dollar interbank rate" in google and find this rate from forex sites. Today interbank buying rate of $1 is Rs. 101.8

    2. Deduct 3% master card exchange charges from it. (101.8  x   3  / 100 = 3.05)  ( 101.8 - 3.05 = 98.75). Your rate of exchange for $1 is 98.75

    3. Suppose you have $85 in your card, now deduct $3.5 (ATM transaction fee from it)  ( $85 - $3.5 =  $81.50)

    4. You can now withdrawn $81.50 in pakistan rupees from ATM. Multiply this amount with rate of exchange which we calculated above. ( $81.50 x  Rs. 98.75 = Rs. 8048 ).  You can withdraw 8,000 from any ATM machine which accept master card. Currently you can use SCB, MCB, Samba and Faysal

MCB deduct Rs. 200 per ATM transaction. I have no idea whether this 200 is included in $3.50 ATM transaction OR it will be deduct from your available fund i.e 8048.  I always left some balance for safe side. In your example I will withdrawn 7500 instead of 8000. Kindly update us after your first withdrawl

Find phrase "Authorized Signature" on your card and sign below it.

  • langaulangau Member Posts: 74 ✭✭

Sign with blue ballpoint same sign which you have in your CNIC. If in future ATM machine eat / fetch your card, then respective ATM machine banker will ask you to show your original CNIC for returning your card. BTW you can still use your card without signing on it, it is for your own safety.

it also depends on as from which bank's ATM you will withdraw money.

if you withdraw $100 from SCB bank ATM then you may get 9400 to 9600 pak rupees.

and if you withdraw $100 from MCB bank ATM then you may get 9200 to 9400 pak rupees.

MCB charge 200 fees on 500.

I have to pay 200 on every 500 rupees ?? Right so costly

  • langaulangau Member Posts: 74 ✭✭

    no,

MCB charge 200 fees on every withdrawal.  it doesn't matter that you withdraw 10$ or $100. MCB charges 200 for every time when you withdraw any amount of money.

  • koolpersonkoolperson Member Posts: 28 ✭✭

ok. Now i transfer 35$ more to payoneer card still checking there system After that

If i found Good then i will withdraw more then 100$ each time i think then payoneer and MCB will charge lowest charges.

Go to Standard chartered bank, insert your payoneer card, type your pin no, click on CHECKING or CURRENT account, withdraw 29000. ( $300-$3.15=$296) Today interbank pak dollar rate is Rs. 104  therefore 296 x 100 = Rs. 29,500)

I have previously posted detail procedure for finding  rate for withdrawn on page 15 of this thread. You can also check it

I also get general processing error in some branches of SCB. If you get error try another branch. I have tried 4 SCB branches in Karachi and successful in withdrawing from one of them. Therefore now I am using that branch for my all withdrawl. You can also try Samba Bank, which is giving good rate of exchange. Presently Payoneer master card is supported by SCB, MCB, Faysal Bank and Samba Bank. If anyone tried another bank kindly update all of us.

    Congrats! on your payout.

All ATM machine allow withdrawl of amount which is dividable by 500. Suppose after all calculation, your available pak rupees balance is 950, then you can withdrawn 500. You can use your remaining Rs. 450 at petrol pump or super store for upto 450 purchasing.

Your card balance was $14.39. Now subtract $3.5 atm transaction fee then you have $10.89. You use MCB, which also deduct 200 which approx equal to $2 therefore deduct this $2 from $10.89 and finally you have $8.89. Present master card exchange rate is $1 = Rs. 100,  Multiply this with $8.89 and available fund is Rs. 889. As already mentioned you can withdrawn amount which should be divided by 500. That was reason ATM show message for insufficient balance.

That was reason ATM show message for insufficient balance.

so brother you mean if i have 15$ in my account i can withdraw 10$ means 1000 pk rupees from bank other than mcb as it charges 2$ extra fee so what i was trying to clear does pakistani atms want that some money should be left in card even 10 cents and card balance should not get to zero after withdraw with calculated fees

ATM dont want to left balance, all atm machine have notes of 500,1000 (some have 5000 also). There is no 100 or 50 notes in ATM machine, It simply mean that you can withdraw any amount which should be dividable by 500. If you have local account in any local pakistani bank and your bank balance is Rs. 9450 than you can withdrawn 9000 only, ATM machine will not handle 450 and simply show you message that amount should be dividable by 500.

Its better you use your card in any Standard Chartered Bank ATM Near by you, they don't deduct any kind of charges.

    @ babloo89

You can withdraw any amount higher then 500, and maximum limit for 24hr duration is 30000 PKR.

    Hope this Help.

I have only use upto Rs. 1000 for pos transaction but found from forum search that Card daily limit is $2500.  http://community.payoneer.com/index.php?/topic/4400-withdrawal-limits/

It is better to confirm it from Payoneer support

Payoneer allows up to $2,500.00 in daily cash withdrawals. Your local bank/ATM may have their own limits, however, so I suggest confirming with them as well.

Well on each 10000 Withdrawal it deducted like 101.40$ from my account, But its not right, Because 10000 Rupees is like 93$ then 3.15$ payoneer ATM withdrawal fee and then 200 = 1.85$ Rupees Standard Chartered Bank ATM fee, So that's like 98$, But deduction on each transaction is 101.40$, So I haven't got any clue that why is that, But it might get auto fixed, Because Once I went to a restaurant and the bill was suppose to be 21.61$ But when I checked in my account I saw that the deduction was 24.67$, Or it might not get fixed, But I haven't got any clue that why there was another 3.40$ deduction.

Payoneer deducts 3% from each transaction in non-USD currencies. Look at comments to your 'Prices and fees'.

SCB has started charging Extra RS 200 per transaction, So i was looking to find some other bank to avoid it, MCB was charging RS 200 from few months. I found Samba Bank, it worked very well without any extra charges.

Just though it may help someone. i have visited their 2 atm's, both worked well. though atm does not allow to enter more than 20000 per transaction. this restriction is there in almost every Pakistani atm. some allow 25000

  • shobishobi Member Posts: 19 ✭✭

RS 20000 = $194.89 , withdrawn from Samba bank atm in lahore few days ago.

I used to withdraw 30,000 per transaction from Standard chartered atm, Gujranwala but today it charged me 200rps for atm access charges and atm withdrawal limit was 20,000. :(

Can anyone else confirm that withdrawal limit is changed to 20,000 for all standard chartered atms? If yes then what's is next best option for payoneer withdrawals?

I tried samba bank atm, it said link is down then i went to MCB, after i entered amount(20,000) pressing continue did nothing. :(

But its not very cost effective is it? I mean it means an average exchange rate of 98.8/usd when the mid market rate is somwhere around Pkr 107.
