Why would my bank transfer be held up, then cancelled?

After receiving a payment, the transfer to my bank failed due to "insufficient account details". After providing all documentation and receiving an email stating that the documentation was what Payoneer needed, after a few days of inaction, the record of the bank transfer disappears from my "view transfers" page.

Does this mean that my $8500 is going to sit in my account, without any ability to be accessed in any way?
