Customer Support says that my card is in internal review, no ETA

Maybe someone already faced the same issue. So yesterday I contacted CS after my transaction was declined. Agent Maggie said that my account is under review and she can't give any information on how long it would take. Sounds like not an answer from a customer support. I found couple of similar topics where I guess users were facing same issues:
deceived-by-payoneer (cant post links, u should be able to find these discussions by name, use google etc. )
card-blocked-balance-frozen
The last one is just awful, mate is waiting for response for two weeks.
And there was a blog (but I cant find link) where user was waiting for response for 40! days.
For me as a freelancer I prefer to keep all my money on a card and now I understood that was a big mistake.

And the question: Is there any ETA for card to unblock? Should I wait for 40+ days before my account shows up in queue? And the main question is : What triggered 'internal review' ?
