Hello all,

I'm a new user of Payoneer, which makes me a lot of difficulities trying to make money exchanges with other users.

In a recent topic, I was asking for my problems in processing a "Request payment" from my individual customers. The answer(s) didn't help much but I have found out later that there is another way called "Make a payment" through email in Payoneer. But my challenge with Payoneer hasn't stopped. My customers complain that they cannot make the payment because Payoneer requires them to "receive payment" from others before I can make one. That's indeed ridiculous because we're all new, and we're just making our first payment exchange with the service.

Please, help me with a solution, an instruction telling me exactly what can I do in this case. Don't give me links, so I will have to dig it up all day with no hope!

P/S: I'm working as a freelancer in Vietnam (south east asia) and want to receive payments from my individual customers in the U.S or around the world.

Thanks,

There is a multitude of ways of utilizing Payoneer, with each service feature playing a cruciel rule in the overall service.

Make a Payment - This feature is basically how you transfer and receive money between Payoneer users. Whether you are paying your supplier or sharing the profits with other Payoneer users you worked with, this is the ultimiate tool for transferring funds between each other without paying a single fee for the transfer.
It also allows you to invite people you  wish to pay through Payoneer to sign up if they don't have an existing account. Once their account is approved, they will be able to access the funds you have sent them.

It can take up to 2 business for the transferred funds to be credited in the receiver account.

While anyone can receive a payment, users who wish to send payment need to reach a certain level of activity before the function is enabled for transferring funds. Payments received through companies and businesses through the Global Payment Service or from mass payout companies that pay through Payoneer will have the feature activated relatively quickly.

BIlling Service - The billing service is the direct payment receiving option that can be used to request payments from companies/businesses you are servicing and an ideal choice if you have direct clients you are working with. Depending on where the client is based, they will have one of three payment options to choose from:

    • Local Bank Transfer payment (business/company only) - The company and/or business can perform a local bank transfer payments to US, UK, Euro and Japanese payments details Payoneer provides. Once the funds are received, it can take 2-3 businesses days to review and credit the funds to the Payoneer account.

If you don't have any of the currency details mentioned, you can contact Payoneer Customer Care to request to enable the service for your account.

The Japanese Payment Service is currelty available for countries who have the ability to withdraw funds to their bank account only as there is no Mastercard loading option for this currency at this time.

    • Credit Card payment - Useful for both individual and busineses, the user can pay you with the use of their credit card. This option is ideal for clients who users who are based in other countries not mentioned above but can be used for them as well. The funds are processed almost immediately when the transaction is completed. The time frame mentioned above is the same, however keep in mind that Payoneer may ask for additional information before individually base client payments can be credited from time to time.
It is recommended to have a healthy relationship with your client and to be readily available to them should they ever have any questions. Your clients are also more than welcome to contact Payoneer Customer Care if they have any questions.

    • e-check (US clients only) - An alternative method to credit card payments, the client has the option to pay you directly through their bank account. Everything stated for credit card payments applies for e-check payment process. The only difference is that payments received from an individually based bank account can take anywhere between 5-8 business days to be credited to the account.
If you are working with an individually based US client, double check with them what payment process they will use so you can be aware of when to expect the submitted payment.

I really appreciate your effort to try to give me an answer in detail, Adam.

But besides all the explanation and demonstration. There's no solution!
So. In your knowledge and opinion, Is there any way for me to deal in this situation?

In short, I run my business as a freelancer, and my clients are individual also. And I have just moved from paypal service (after enduring its occasional limitations for years). So I created a payoneer account and tell my clients to create theirs, too. And it has just been for a few weeks.

You can see it very clearly that: as fresh users, we have no activities on Payoneer before. So, of course neither any money to receive to be able to start making payments.

    --------

Again, I have only two options, either to find a way to get over this, or in the end.. drop it. So please at your convenience, tell me what should I/we do now and How To Do It...one by one!

I wasn't asking why, I was asking How...
I hope you guys will pay closer attention for better support in the future!

    Thank you very much,
    Taddy

Ewallets such as Paypal are an ideal solution for many people around the world, however one of the problems I understand from users I talked to is that Paypal operates differently in each country.
If your clients prefer to pay you with the use of their ewallet, the best thing you can do as a freelancer is to find a marketplace that can

    • Provide you with an ewallet payment option for your client
    • That will give you the ability to withdraw your money and access it.

We have come along way in the modern day so there are many different sites that can provide this service and process your payouts through Payoneer. You can find some great examples on Payoneer's website at https://www.payoneer.com/freelancing/ with additional examples that can be found on their blog by clicking here

The Billing Service is a great solution for repeat clients you work 1 on 1 with, while the freelance marketplace allows you to connect with many clients worldwide while giving multiple payment options that are most convenient for each one of the clients reaching out.
In addition, you can link your Payoneer account withm multiple Freelance platforms so you can receive payouts from multiple source. Overtime as your business expands and you hire more man power to help you with the work load this can be extreamly benefical in expanding your business and name on the online field.
