Not enough money for bank account withdrawal

DSCDSC Posts: 2Member
Hey guys! Total newbie here.

I sporadically receive Amazon payments to my Payoneer account, so that then, I can withdraw the money to my mexican bank account. Problem is, this time I only have $174 in my balance -$26 short of the $200 minimum and I won't be getting another payment anytime soon.

What are the options to get my money? At the moment, it's just sitting there and I really need it.

Cheers!

    Welcome @DSC

As a the newest kid on the block I can tell you that this is always one of the first questions Payoneer receives. One option you have is to order the Payoneer prepaid Mastercard from your online access which can be used for local/online/international transactions and ATM withdrawals.

To order a card from your Payoneer account, from the drop-down menu at the top of the page, select the card balance for which you want to order a card and click on "Order Card". After entering your shipping address and confirming your account details, your card order will be processed and you will receive a confirmation email for the order.

The USD currency Mastercard will be shipped to your address you provide, and once activated you can use the card as a direct option to access the funds you earn online. While it it a very useful option, keep in mind that when you order the card, fees associated to owning a card will be added.

If you don't need the card and you can hold out for when you have at least $200 in your balance, I say stick to that because it will be more cost effiecent in the long run. No one becomes an expert seller when they start, but as you start reaching the status of a veteren online seller, having less than $200 in your balance will be a thing of the past.

I think it is perfectly fine to order the card as an added feature to your service for situations where you need immediate access to your funds (not on a day to day basis).
Each person who will read this thread can think about the time that he was stuck without money or access to it at least once in their life, so there is the advantage of having the card.
My personal opinion, treat the card as if you were traveling and only use it when you need it most. This way you won't have to deal with a currency conversion charge for each transaction made.
When withdrawing from the ATM, always withdraw the maximum amount the ATM offers (or balance available) in order to reduce multiple ATM withdrawal fees for each ATM transaction you will need to make.

    Adam, thanks for your response!

Unfortunately, I don't have any use for the card and, indeed, think it would only be a waste of money. Is there some way of transfering funds to my Payoneer account from a mexican bank account? I think its the best solution possible, but I have gone through tons of support menus and still don't have any clue as to how to do it.

Right now the withdraw limit is $200 per attempt, while I am aware that Payoneer is reviewing the possiblity of lowering this in the future, until that happens you will need to go by the limit that is currently stated.

The money you have on the account will not go anywhere and you won't have to pay any fees for the balance account, so I would recommend you take the time and work on promoting your product online. The moment you have $200 in your balance, go to your Payoneer account and withdraw the funds to the bank account details you have on file.

You can also add new details in advance before the withdraw just so you can be sure that the money you will be withdrawing will be going to the right place.
