Why is Payoneer Mastercard Classified as Prepaid Card and Not Debit Card?

I wanted to use service in US that uses Stripe for their payment processing. On their support article, Stripe state the following:
"►Which cards and payment types can I accept with Stripe?
With Stripe, you can charge almost any kind of credit or debit card:
U.S. businesses can accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, JCB, Discover, and Diners Club.
Australian, Canadian, European, Hong Kongese, Japanese, and Singaporean businesses can accept Visa, MasterCard, and American Express.
You can also accept gift and prepaid cards that are one of the above types. You can use Stripe to charge cards of these types from customers anywhere in the world. Depending on where your business is located, you can also charge customers in their local currencies."
However when I wanted to place an order, the message received was that prepaid cards are not accepted.
Is it possible to re-classify Payoneer Mastercard as debit card to make it more accepted

Reemphasizing the following: "You can also accept gift and prepaid cards that are one of the above types."
Stripe accept prepaid card that is the type of a debit card and Payoneer Mastercard perfectly falls under such description. Why I am unable to place and order with it is unclear to me.0
