Strange transactions data after ATM issue

Hi,

I have strange behavior of my transactions. I had recently an ATM issue. Everything looks normal like previous issues the amount is on pre-auth so i need to wait.

After a couple of days, it should be like others (back to my account) and yes i see the data in transaction list.
the amount for the attempt and , the same amount in the other column (money back). So same amount i the 2 columns that mean the transaction was cancelled. (like -10 and +10 on same ATM )

In the same time , the same amount is back in pre auth again.. and the amount changed a little bit (same amount in local money but little less in USD ???? (so i have as example now -10 +10 and -9.8 pre auth but exactly same amount on local money).

So, the amount still not available, and i need to wait again a new delay of pre-auth expecting a new cancellation.

Seems like it did a new attempt (same ATM and same bank). But i'm sure 100% i did only 1 attempt of this amount. I used payoneer since 4 or 5 years it's not my first ATM issue.

It make me wait more time not like before and i feel like it's a bug or a scam attempt. Not something normal.

May be someone understand or had same issue. Thanks for any answer.

Regards,

Hi, thanks for the answer, i got a call from the merchant and they said i will recover the money . I don't yet want to make a dispute for the moment because it still on pre auth (so pending and can go in or out later when the pre auth will expire or validated).

But if i understand well your answer. That means the local bank (atm owner ) charged 2 times for same attempt, it is not a bug of my account on payoneer. That's what i'm searching to understand, i will check with them.

    Thank you

personaly i suppose that someone (payoneer or ATM owner) remade the transaction because the USD value changed , and didn't taked account that the transaction was cancelled. Something like that but i don't know it's simple supposition

I am not a fan of assumptions because it can prolong an issue.
I honestly doubt its a Payoneer issue, but this is why I recommend to contact support because they will be able to view the transaction through the processor as well and compare it to the situation you have described.

Bringing in Payoneer into the loop or at the very least notifying them could help you out in this process.

Happy and willing to answer general questions.
