Payoneer account Locked. Firstchoice card getting declined.

My account recently got locked on payoneer because I forgot my password(since the site keeps insisting on me changing it every other day apparently) and I couldnt remember the security questions. I already contacted support and got an automated reply and I replied to the email in hopes of reaching a human being.

The thing is, I also have a firstchoice account which is not locked and I recently received a payment there but every time I try to use my card it gets declined. Everywhere I go the card gets declined. Does this has to do with my main payoneer being locked or is Firstchoice account completely autonomous form the payoneer one and my card is being declined for other reasons? I cant contact support right now as they only work on weekdays, so I would appreciate an answer that is not "contact support".

    Howdy Mark,

Replying to the automated was the right approach. Newly submitted tickets will at times generate an automated response that are designed to assist with simple inquiries and obtain additional information. Obviously the inquiry may not be so simple at times, which is why replying to the automated response is key will guarantee that a live representative will get back to you as soon as possible once they have reviewed your inquiry.

As for the FirstChoice Pay card, it should not have the trouble you are describing. There is only one of three possibilities: You did not activate the card, there is no money on the card or your card is currently damaged.

Damaged cards normally lose the ability to perform swipe (physical) transactions at the store or ATM. However, you should still be able to perform online transactions or keyed local transactions (meaning the merchant needs to enter the card details manually).

If you currently have funds on the card, I recommend you attempt to use the card at one or multiple locations to rule out the activation or balance issues. If the card is in fact damaged, contacting support is the only option in this case as they will need to issue you a new replacement card.

Happy and willing to answer general questions.
