Payment has been rejected but No reason from payoneer

My client sent me a payment on Friday 5/05/2017 and payoneer asked for more documents on 8/05/2017. Today when I checked the payment status in my account it shows payment rejected but when my client called them they said it's pending in their system and should be credited by Monday. It's not making sense to me. Anyone from payoneer to explain to me coz this is just not right keeping people's money this long and telling stories.

In such instance it is best to contact Payoneer support to see why the payment was rejected. If it was not a terms of service issue, the support staff should be able to advise you on the reason why this may have occurred.
