Payoneer suddenly blocked my card

Hi,

Yesterday I received the following message from payoneer - "We are contacting you in regard to a security alert from MasterCard® that indicates a possible breach of security concerning your Payoneer card. As a safety measure we have blocked your current card to prevent potential abuse."

So my card is blocked, I can't withdraw any funds from it. I left with ~$10 cash for the next three weeks (I was going to withdraw cash on the day when my card was blocked). I wrote a message to payoneer support asking to unblock my card while I'm waiting for the replacement, but they don't think I deserve an answer, despite I've been a loyal customer for 10 years.

Why is it considered normal to block all my money without any heads up, without even giving me an hour to withdraw some cash before blocking the card? Good that it happened while I'm at home, if this happened during travels I would be doomed for starvation...

Payoneer's risk department receives alerts from MasterCard when a fraud may occur with the cards and to avoid any abuse or having your funds stolen, the card gets blocked.

It may not be very comfortable situation, however Payoneer and other card providers will not take a chance with your money and block the card to secure the funds on it.

When your card is blocked following this type of alert, you receive a new replacement card at no cost.
Paying a fee for replacing the card only applies if you opt for expediting shipping services.

Any individual questions or concerns regarding your card and the funds on it should be directed to Payoneer support.

Exactly the same situation happens to me today ( ... They even didn't notify me - I have found that my card is blocked when I logged in to withdraw my money. The only possible situation is to wait for a new card (((
