Pending Authorizations

It's been 2 days since I made my payment on Amazon. This is not the first time I've used this card. I have available funds on my account and yet I was informed by Amazon that my transaction was declined. Payoneer does not offer 24/7 customer service and yet I need the payment authorized so I can have my items shipped quickly. Is this something I should expect and so take my complaints elsewhere via online blog and find another option, or is Payoneer planning to improve their customer service to facilitate similar issues.

    Hi Scott,

Sorry to hear about your experience. Obviously when you utilize a service of any kind, you except to receive it. However in the instance you described, a service was provided.

If the funds are deducted from the account (even if it is a pending transaction), it means that the merchant was successfully able to proceed in charging the card. If Payoneer would have declined the transaction, the money would have remained in your account. Based on the situation you described, it sounds like there was an issue with the processor during the time when Amazon attempted to charge the card.

I don't like to assume topics based on face value alone, which is why I recommend you raise this issue with Payoneer Support directly.

Happy and willing to answer general questions.
