What about U.S.-based companies paying U.S.-based freelancers?

Our company has fewer than 20 freelancers, and I'm trying to figure out whether Payoneer is right for us. We have a few freelancers outside of the U.S., but the rest of them are in the U.S.

After looking around the Payoneer website, I'm still confused. What would be the simplest (and cheapest) way to use Payoneer to pay our U.S.-based freelancers? I saw something about ACH transfers to local receiving accounts that would be linked to Payoneer accounts so that fees could be reduced, but that sounds more like a process for international transactions. Am I wrong? Would this also be the process for U.S. to U.S. payments? What am I missing?

It would also be great to know what the actual fees would be for using Payoneer to pay our freelancers. I'm seeing a lot of mentions of "free" this and that, but surely, we'd have to pay somebody something. The payment funds would be coming directly from our company's bank account.

Thanks in advance for your help!

    Hi @curiousone,

ACH transfers are a US based transfer system between the banks, most commonly used by American businesses handling mass payroll for their US employees. What Payoneer does is take a local transfer method and embeds it in an international service, allowing the conveniency of local services and fees for the payeer while providing an international service to the freelancer/employee.
If you have a US based company and you wish to pay your freelancers/employees through Payoneer (regardless if they reside in the US or not), ACH bank transfer payments through the US collection bank account details Payoneer provides is the most convenient and most cost effective option for you.

If you do not have a Payoneer account and you are the client/employer trying to pay through Payoneer, you should expect to pay zero to small fees from Payoneer's side.
I have added two FAQ links below to help you stay focused and learn more about the expected fees (if any would apply).
