But the that is fake because when you click the link it open "n2.payoneer com es/" a phishing site to steal your account information, i dont know how they got my email and how they know i own payoneer and tried to scam me but im sure that they scam everyone, also the email was in Inbox at gmail so not in Spam and it was send from [email protected] maybe they got their mail server but i want to share this because someone maybe get hacked.

    Hi @igormkd94 ,

Thank you for raising this. I can assure you that Payoneer was not hacked, however these emails are a pattern they are familiar with. As you probably know yourself, hackers will resort to petty tactics in order to obtain your login details and compromise accounts that are associated to the email.

This does not target Payoneer users only, but includes users who never opened a Payoneer account. They are simply using a traditional fishing approach, cast a wide net and hope to catch a whale.

Mankind has made large technological advances in the past century, however we must not fool ourselves that only good comes out of it. Now more than ever, we need to remain constantly vigilant in order to avoid to fall victim of such crimes.
When in doubt about any email you receive from a company:

    • If you are not registered with them, add them to your spam mail list.
    • If you are signed up or wish to do your due diligence, find their contact details on their websites and contact them.

Phishing and identity theft: What you need to know and how to stay alert.

Happy and willing to answer general questions.
