Receiving funds from TransferWise

Hello there,
Those who don't know TransferWise, it's a service that allows you to send money from US Bank Accounts to any other bank account in the world.
I'd like to know if it's possible to receive funds from someone that sends via TransferWise?

You should be able to transfer your earnings from Transferwise to Payoneer by adding your Global Payment Details to your account with TransferWise

Well,
I wasn't able to receive funds from TransferWise to Payoneer. However, i managed to get paid from a platform I work on called Submithub which handles payments to bank accounts through TransferWise to my payoneer GBP Payment Service without issues.

I think NO. Respectively I am also waiting for the answer from other members.-2

When replying to someone else's issue, try to be constrictive and speak either from personal knowledge or from a previous experience.
Why an "I think NO" while you're wondering just like me?

Yes, it is.
I just tried an EUR transfer (to my Wirecard account on Payoneer) and it arrived fine.
I am trying to receive an USD transfer, but Trasnferwise [apparently] can't transfer to First Century Bank, where my Payoneer USD account is.
You can give a try, transferring a low value just to test.1 -
Transfering USD to payoneer does not work.
When trying to add my account as a payee I get the following error:
"We cannot currently accept payments to this recipient"
EUR on the other hand worked just fine.0 -
The company I work for attempted to pay from transferwise to me. Payoneer is telling me rubbish lol. Telling me information I added is wrong. I have submitted extra information and will keep you all updated on my horror story.0

Dan, i was looking for an answer if it was possible or not. In my case, payoneer does not accept Wire transfers in US. And Transfer Wise yes. But I can't get a Transfer wise card because I'm not euro zone resident. So I wish to receive the wire in transfer wise and then transfer to payoneer to be able to use my funds with my card (i know it's a lot of fees, but at least I'd be able to receive my funds).
Is it possible?0 -
I couldn't transfer EUR money from transferwise to payoneer, because payoneer rejected it, saying they can't accept that transfer.
The account number, and name was exactly correct, not even a whitespace was different.

Dear @disconnect , If the payment did not reach your Payoneer account, please contact Transferwise to verify why it happened. But in case the payment reached our system and got rejected, which is less probable, you should contact the support.

Same time i got email from payoneer, that they can't accept this transfer.

So there is a limitation: you can't transfer money from your transferwise to your payoneer... then i'll create a transferwise account with another name, then transfer there, and trasnfer to payoneer from there

Hi @disconnect. We would be unable to confirm if we received the payment here form, the forum but I invite you to contact our support team directly. If we can connect with you directly and view your account we would be able to see if we received the funds and if or why they were not loaded to your account.

Hey @morga i talked with payoneer support in live chat
I asked “I worked for a company over a year and now im done my job. And they told me we wish to send your money via our transferwise account so it have a less % fee. I did some research on my own, but i cant take this risk, so i said to my self its better if i ask for payoneer support.
Is it possible the company i worked for can send me the money from Transferwise to my EUR global payment service without any problem, they have money in EUR too? We are talking for a year salary and its around xx.000€.”
Their answer is:
“Yes, you can receive funds from Transferwise using the Euro Payment Service (bank details from Wirecard Bank)
Please note that the payment must be done via local bank transfer, and in EUR Currency
And there is no limit for that.”
What i dont understood is that the company i worked for have money in their account balance and they wished to pay me from TransferWise but the agent support said “Please note that the payment must be done via local bank transfer” , does that mean the transfer will go through without any problem even they pay me from their TransferWise Balance ?0 -
