we need additional information to proceed

i just got an email from payoneer telling me to add additional information to proceed.
which i find kinda strange, since at the time i wasnt doing anything, i didnt sent or request money or anything. so why would i suddenly need to verify some information which i never needed to do before while everything was working fine....and i want to know if this is necessary or if i can just ignore it for now

    have had the exact same thing except it happened while trying to choose the load option method.. I can't choose the load option method.. my payment stays pending..

    But why does it have to take so long and why just after a payment, people need their money, i am waiting for mine for a week now, i have payments to make and you people just don't seem to give a rats ass that your customers are getting in all kinds of trouble

    I have verified account (ID 8351973), got payment from Upwork which, I believe, should be quite trusty source for Payoneer, but cannot confirm the payout - when I click to the confirmation button in email or copy link directly to browser, it redirects me to the homepage of Payoneer through the error page www.payoneer.com/Oops/ErrorPage.html?aspxerrorpath=/WebApps/PayoutPage/Gateway.aspx

    Support guy can't tell anything, has escalated the claim to somewhere else, nothing happens, nobody replied. May be it would be at least polite from your side to explain to your customers whats going on?

    Will just did it. As he mentioned Payoneer must comply with the KYC policy (Know your customers).

    I also received yesterday that email and I don't mind verifying my business. The only issue I have is the delay to do it and the lack of information and details.

    hwdhwd I have the same issue the issue has not solved yet. They told me they are still working on this? why they are not trying to release the fund manually we need it now. don't know whats wrong ???

    You are not stupid reader because you are clever writer, right? I DO HAVE VERIFIED ACCOUNT, PASSED KYC AND THAT WAS CONFIRMED BY SUPPORT GUY !

    Hi there Mikek.
    How did you do it? You received any approval email after u filled "verify my line of business” form or “Merchant application form"

    Did what? I have verified account long time ago sending document copies, I passed KYC procedures several times on receiving payments from third parites and when I spoke with support guy last night he said that my account is ok, doesnt require any verification and all my problems because I use iMac, iPhone.. and then he gave up because payout confirmation link they've sent to me doesn't work on any device. Is it what writers like @hwdhwd call KYC policy?

    Using Payoneer from last 8 years or so and over the year have provided/verified everything and now on 3rd September 2018 i got email that i need to verify and i followed link and landed on a page where they asked some details which were provided now its 24 hour but no update, i contacted support last night and they replied it will take 2-4 business days, now its start of month and i need to pay bills, school fees of my kids, groceries etc and they have blocked everything, not sure how long it may take, probably time to use other gateways in future if its not sorted, I have never been warned or claimed for a chargeback via clients as i get paid only after delivering work. All I request is to expedite the procedure to reinstate the account so i can keep myself on schedule and financial equilibrium.
