Why can't I receive payments in USD from individuals?

I am a freelance Translator based in Haiti. I signed up to payoneer because it was advertised to me that payoneer makes it easier to receive payments worldwide as a freelancer. Well, it turns out that this is simply for marketing purposes. Because I work with individuals most of the time, not companies. And when I need to request a payment the option is non existent. Why can an individual pay me in USD? why make it hard for us customers to receive those payments? Why does my client need to have a company bank account in order to pay me in USD for my services. I didn't know payoneer would do that to me other wise I wouldn't have signed up. For example, I have a client in the USA for whom I do translation works. I cannot send him a payment request neither can she pay me since she doesn't own a company. I don't think this is helping us at all payoneer. I am really disappointed in the service. Honestly, if Haiti had PayPal I would switch. Too bad, this really sucks.

Hello Dan. I actually am on Upwork, Freelancer and Fiverr. My main concern is that I often receive work from individuals who happened to have been referred to lme by other customers, and these get in touch via email and they are not affiliated to any market places. How do I contact them to request a payment since they are not on any freelance platforms? They are individuals as I said that are referred to me by other customers for whom I had worked previously and they do so via email. How do I fix that?

    > Hi, I'm very sorry to hear about this impression you have of our services. Your client is not required to have a company or a website in order to send you a payment. Invoicing through our service may require accumulating payments from official sources first, and there's a solution for that.
    > I reckon that you are also active on freelance market places, or at the very least acquainted with them. If you could tell me where you are making the first contact with your clients, I'm sure we can help.

You said that I need to accumulate payments from official sources, I actually am, you can check my account and you shall see I have monthly income from Genesis. You also mentioned there is a solution for that, what is that specific solution sir? I want to know for I am all about solutions.

I used to have them make a deposit on my wife's account who lives in the US, then have my wife send me a transfer. The process is too complicated, so I looked up online for a company that would provide me with the same services as PayPal. I stumbled upon payoneer which advertise a lot of benefits to customers, which appealed to me. This is why I signed up with you. But my first pay I cannot withdraw if it's not 1000 usd minimum, I can't send payment request to anyone, a service which was sold to me before I signed up. It seems like I tried payoneer to find solutions and I get up being caught up in the same woven web that I was before I did sign up and open my account with your company. This is why I feel really disappointed. Like I said, I have 806 USD in my account that I work hard for and I cannot access it because it's not 1000 usd yet. It doesn't make any sense at all and this is not helping me. I cannot even pay my monthly rent because of this. Nonsense. I hope you have a valid working solution for this or I'll look up another service provider like yours to switch to that'll actually help. Thank you and I am confirming again that I am 900% disappointed for u feel like I have been played by your company.

    > Hi again, this is an invaluable insight, because it leads me to understand how the unfulfilled expectation is created, and where. Let's focus on what I can do for you.
    > Would you like me to check with my team members about the possibility of lowering the threshold? So you can at least withdraw the funds you already earned?
    > Let me know please.

Yes, please that would help. It will be really helpful to check with your team and see how they can lower the threshold so I can withdraw the funds I earned, Dan. Thank you. Once again my ID is 27131343

Hello! Why can I not receive any update about my case? Twice I received payments and still cannot place a payment request nor can I withdraw my money I earned by working so hard for. Definitely getting fed up with this...
