Fund Payoneer with foreign currency account

Hello, our company is based in the UK but we operate a foreign currency account in USD. Is it possible to fund our Payoneer account using the foreign currency account without converting to another currency? For example, we pay $100 into our Payoneer account from the USD account. We then send the USD to our freelancer.

As we are based in the UK... will the Payoneer account be set-up in GBP and therefore the USD will get converted into GBP?

Thanks for your help.

Hello @askingaq ! If you are registering for your account directly on Payoneer.com you should begin with 3 currency options. USD, GBP, and EUR. This will allow you some flexibility in receiving payments.

Unfortunately, you would not be able to fund this account using your own companies bank account. This is not allowed per our terms and conditions. To add funds to this account you would need to receive payments from clients or companies using one of our payment services. I have included a link to our help center topic about this so you can review each one available.

Thanks for your help. Rather than us loading the account and then sending funds....

If our freelancer sends us a payoneer invoice... can we pay it with our foreign currency account?

Our freelancer is based in Russia and would like to receive payment in USD.

Our freelancer is based in Russia and would like to receive payment in USD.

If you are receiving invoices from a freelancer you would be able to pay them using a personal credit or debit card with a fee of 3% for the transaction.

If you are an active user of your Payoneer account, and begin to receive payments frequently, you would also eventually gain access to our Make a payment service which would allow you to pay using funds that are in your Payoneer balance. The Make a payment service has no fee for its use.
