Received payment in GBP and it went to my USD balance

Hey!
So I got a payment from a job, and such payment was in GBP but for some reason it transformed into USD instead of Euro. Why did this happen? I'm thinking of ordering the Euro prepaid card, and I don't wish to have 3 different cards for each currency. Is there a way to define to which balance I want the incoming money go to?

HI @diewhilelive. Generally, the accounts we issue do start with the options to receive USD, EUR, or GBP, but the currency you receive can depend on the source of the payment. I would recommend checking the currency settings from the account the payment is originating from. If you are being paid by one of our partner companies, it should show you which currency your transfers to Payoneer would be made in.
This will help you to understand what to expect when it comes to payments you receive.
