2FA for Payoneer Account

Hello Payoneer,

I really do not understand what could possibly be the reason that is keeping Payoneer from securing its user accounts by implementing any sort of Two Factor Authentication System even in 2019!!

What we really need more is for any sort of transactions, either debit/credit, it will be really effective to have at least an email notification immediately. You guys realize its importance, don't you?
Currently it's not working for all types of transactions.

Please consider this. It's already too late!

    Hi there @mlprince . First and foremost let me assure you that we at Payoneer take account security as one of our highest priorities. I appreciate your feedback on this, and want to let you know that as we continue to evolve as a business we do take feedback like this very seriously. We are looking into 2FA as well as other potential methods of improving our security. As changes like this have major implications it is not something we can change overnight, but in time we will definitely continue to improve our already stellar account security systems.

    As soon as there is any update or changes like this, we will be sure to let you and all of our users know via email.

    You should move a little faster. This is unacceptable in 2019 after we have all read about multiple security breaches globally in the news. You have lots of our sensitive information. Your company is likely the next global PayPal and you raised over $270 million dollars according to Crunchbase. You have the resources to do it by now this has been requested since 2013 and maybe earlier.

    Come on Payoneer. Security of your users should be the #1 priority. And the users want it. It shouldn't take over 6 years to do something like this.

    Thanks for the feedback regarding 2FA. Believe us, we understand this feature is a long time coming and it has been one of the more requested features from users like you. We understand that technology is developing and becoming more advanced so we should be doing what we can to further assure the safety and security of our users.

    With that said, I can confirm that this is in the works and has been. There has even been a pilot program around a handful of our users to try out a feature like this. We hope to expand this program to all users after the results of that pilot program have been analyzed and we are ready to roll it out. No time frames on this, however. It is a work in progress for sure.

    We do apologize for the inconvenience and the fears there. While as we're a well regulated financial institution and pride ourselves on having a platform that is safe and secure for the funds of our users, our team does hear the requests for 2FA and we do hope to implement this in the near future.

As of three days after my reply to your original inquiry about 2FA, we don't have an update but we can confirm again that our team has heard your feedback and we hope to implement this future to all users in the future. Your feedback is incredibly valuable to us and it helps us improve.
