My refund stuck in "Upcoming transactions"

I tried to buy something from a store ( later appeared it is a drop shipping store ), but then I demanded a refund ( he accepted ), the problem since then ( 20 January ), the transaction still stuck in upcoming. ( -20.00 USD )

What should I do? do I have to wait?

    Hi there @DrSadek . It sounds like the funds are on hold. This hold is called a pre-authorization. A pre-authorization is a common occurrence with card transactions. Merchants will put the funds required for a purchase into a pending transaction. They do this to verify that there are adequate funds to make the transaction in question. Unfortunately, whether or not the transaction is approved the hold remains until it expires.

    Usually it takes a full 7-10 business days for the hold to expire, once it does, the funds should be returned to you as long as the merchant cancelled the order.
