Non-resident with LLC in US - Opening Payoneer Business Account

Hey there,

I’ve been using payoneer for many years now, and would like to known whether it is possible to open a business account for a LLC in Wyoming, USA. The funding sources to that account will be mainly through Amazon, Google AdSense, and other affiliate marketing networks.

- I do not, however, reside in the US. Will this be a problem, considering that I’m the owner of the LLC?

- Which documents you’ll need, so I can know upfront and obtain them from the institutions of the United States before applying for the account?

- Will this business account be able to make payments to independent contractors, or make wire or ACH transfers to local bank accounts in other countries (in the same currency)?

- I would like to keep my business account separate from my personal account. Will I be able to log in into this account separately, as a business/legal entity?

- When I’m making payments to independent contractors – which name is listed for the transaction – my own or that of my business?

- What rates do you apply when transferring funds? Are they the same as with a personal account?

Hi @bojan121, glad to answer these questions.

    1) It won't be an issue if you reside in the US if the company is based in the US.

    2) We'll ask for a certificate of incorporation to verify the company account.

    3) The account will operate exactly the same as a personal account, with a difference being the company's name showing up on the account. So all eligibility requirements to send and receive money that apply to a personal account would apply for a business account.

    4) You'll be able to login with a different set of details, yes. A business account is a new account, independent of the personal one.

    5) The business name will be listed when payments are made. But, again, all eligibility requirements for sending payments that apply to a personal account, apply here.

    6) No special rates with a business account - same thing as a personal account.

    Thanks!

Hey @KazPayoneer , thank you, can you just confirm that in the above answer you meant to say ''It won't be an issue if you DONT reside" because that's what I've asked, right?

    Thanks.

    Hello @bojan121,

It won't be an issue if you don't reside in the US, which is what I meant to say.

    Thanks

Hi, I have a question about that. The card will be issued at the name of the company incorporated in the USA. What about the billing address? Will it be the same as the company's registered address?

Is Certificate of Incorporation is the document you need for creating a business account?
