Payment rejected in Gol airline.

Hi everyone!

I'm struggling to make a payment for a flight (must be around 550U$D). I call the airline asking about this and they tell me I need to authorize the payment and that I should call MasterCard. Is this something usual? What number should I call?

    Hi there,

    This definitely seems unusual. The transaction should not be getting declined as it is indeed possible to make payments for flights with our card. Perhaps it is that they do not accept prepaid cards for payment. But otherwise I'd suggest trying again later.

    Hi, thanks for the response.

    I just tried with other card that I know is a credit card and couldn't pay either. I'm going to call this Gol airline again, they may have a response.

    Last time I called them, they told me I needed to call to my card provider to authorize the transaction, do I need to call MasterCard?

    Hi there,

    We don't actually authorize or unauthorize any payments so it seems that they are having an issues with card payments for the time being.
