we are a company/vendor and my employees do not feel comfortable providing their license?

We are only setting up to receive payments from a Walmart direct ship program. We are a federally recognized company located in the USA. However, Payoneer wants my accounts payable clerk's full drivers license, front and back. The employee feels this is an invasion of privacy since they are only doing this to download data and update our Walmart account? Is this even legal for a vendor account? And what happens if that employee leaves, since it's going to be tied to their personal data on their license and not our company data?

    @spowell28 Hello,

    Please understand that Payoneer is a financial institution that is regulated by the US government. This means any payments that are coming into our systems are heavily monitored. In order to continue to use the services, clients and vendors must provide government issued documents in order to verify that these payments are coming and going to the correct individuals/businesses.

    Thank you.
