Why Payoneer had rejected my ID card?

Hi! I recently asked my client to send me payment through Payoneer. It took about 10-15 days for Payoneer to decline my payment with the response that is something like that in the mail :

Dear Bilal Kazmi,

Thank you for providing a copy of National ID.

Unfortunately, the type of document you sent does not match our request.

[[]]

Please resubmit your information via Verification Center.

So, that leaves me with many misunderstandings. Can somebody tell me what can be the issue? I send them clear pictures of my ID card. Should I use a more fine camera? IDK.
