10K USD frozen, 2K USD just evaporated after trying to use "Manage Currencies"

I had around 12K USD in my Payoneer -- 10K USD being in the card, and 2K USD being in the USD account. After hearing the news, I just wanted to try to use the "Manage Currencies" option, and tried to transfer all my money to my Payoneer EUR account (I don't have a card for that account). After trying that, I received an error message so transfer didn't happen, and then, I saw that my 2K USD were gone, and there was NO money in my EUR account. Now I see only 10K USD in my prepaid card (that I cannot withdraw because it's frozen), and 0 (ZERO) in my EUR account. My 2K USD have just been evaporated. Then I realized even my EUR account on Payoneer was from Wirecard Bank AG! It's getting worse and worse. I need answers.

    Same happened to me
    I had $600 excess out of my 10k balance. Tried to transfer to GBP, but now my money is missing.

    Payoneer wtf are you doing? Gimme back my excess balance and lemme fucking withdraw.

    And it's Saturday and no one answers. I'm not sure if they will be able to give some answers even on Monday. That's totally fucked up! They don't even provide us with some guidelines on what to do or how to do. Why are there still accounts associated with Wirecard Bank apart from the prepaid card, and why does Payoneer keep open this "Manage Currencies" option even with the bank accounts associated with Wirecard Bank? I totally lost my confidence, and that was almost all my money. What am I going to do?!

    Same here I had more than 5K excess on my account in addition to the 9750 USD on the card. What's going on here?!

    My $50,663 is frozen on Payoneer.

    I should have $40,663 "Excess Funds" which should be available to be withrawn since only $10,000 (card max limit) is affected by this Wirecard issue.

    However, i can't withraw even a dollar from the "$40,663" Excess Funds.

    Same thing happened to me. 4k is missing from USD. This is very worrying.

    But do you see it on your balance at least ? is it displayed on your card next to your xxxx- card number? Because this is where it was displayed in my case now I only have 9750 USD while the rest which is a lot more is not displayed anywhere!

    Yes, i can see my full balance which is $50,663 and $10,000 of it available on card.

    Where can I check this balance ? because all I see is three cards on the top, one of which has the 9000 smth USD on it!? The others are 0, and $7.11.

    You are able to see your excess balance just fine. I mean, this is a gross problem for everyone, but as of now, everyone experiences this problem. So you don't have an additional problem. On the other hand, the issue me and Benn are dealing is a bit different. We are not able to see our excess balances, we see only 10K even though our balance is actually more than 10K.

    My problem now though is, I can't withraw any excess amount.

    Payoneer said that only the $10,000 is affected, so i should be able to withraw my $40,663

    But, I can't even withraw a dollar from the excess amount.

    That really sucks. I tried to change the currency of my excess amount from USD to EUR, and now it's gone. Be careful when making transactions.

    Okay, so currency convert/changing is basically the cause of your problem?

    I also got a similar issue like that.

    I attempted to withraw money into my bank, but it gave me an error.

    However, the "amount" i attempted to withraw was "deducted" from my account.

    The money was just gone, can't be found on transaction history or anywhere.

    However, after 10 - 15 minutes, it was credited back again.


    Basically, if you try to do something with your payoneer balance right now it will cause problems.

    This happened to me as well, but a few months back. But this time with this currency conversion attempt, it's not credited back again. Now it's almost 12 hours, but the issue still remains the same. :(

    So that means We can't withdraw money to local bank accounts for now?
    I am getting an automatic payment from Upwork tomorrow to my payoneer account, what should I do? I can't cancel it

    Yeah mine too, my USD balance was above 29,000, tried converting to EUR but it failed with an error now my USD balance is 18,000, nothing in transaction history. nothing credited in EUR balance.

    Yes the failed withdrawal money got added back to the balance. But the failed currency conversion just vanishes.

    We have the exact problem. I already wrote to Payoneer everywhere, I sent a message to Support Center, and even to their Twitter account. Their response on Twitter pissed me off, because the people who manage the account don't even try to understand what the real problem is. They just copy-pasted a blog post by Payoneer which is completely unrelated to our issue. So, let's keep in touch about this issue.

    Sorry to respond late. The balance is back now to normal. I tried to withraw money into a bank, but it gave me an error too. They are maybe blocking this for the audit or to prevent Payoneer users from moving all their money elsewhere

    After almost 24 hours, at least the vanished part (the amount that exceeded 10K) has turned back into my account. I hope it's the same for others who had this issue as well.

    I checked my balance today and it was back. I have quickly withdrawn it.

    Same here. I could withdraw the excess balance that disappeared yesterday (it's not much in my case). The transfer is "pending", so wait and see. I tried to dip below the card limit, it's still frozen.

    I sent a message thanking them sincerely for caring about our money, but asking politely to release it as soon as possible because some of us need it badly. I have seen on the forum that it is sometimes a humanitarian emergency. I am stranded 10.000+km from home since March by airline lockdowns, but at least I have another card from a real bank.

    Thats horrible really. My money also stuck! Payoneer give us real timeline how many days we should wait exactly? Dont cross us by saying "soon" its fixed. We need our money and proper ETA.
