Problem with balance transfer from old card to new card

Hi there to all,
I have stopped my old card from working because I lost it, and then I applied for a new card which has arrived a few day ago.
The problem that I have right now is that the money that was stopped from being used in the last card wasn't transfered to the new one.
Now I'm wondering why the money that i have is still not availabe to be used.
