Using Payoneer with eWallet websites such as PayPal and Skrill

One of the most common ways that our users receive payments is by receiving payments from eWallets such as PayPal, Stripe, Skrill, or another eWallet. We are glad to be able to provide a means for you to receive payments from eWallets as we are aware that it may not always be feasible to receive a payment from a company. Our Global Payment Service allows Payoneer users to receive payments from eWallets, with PayPal being the most common instance of this.
We hope this thread will be the end all, be all for all of your concerns and questions regarding using eWallets to receive payments into your Payoneer account. We have answered some commonly asked questions regarding this process
How Does It Work?
Since the Global Payment Service allows you to receive bank transfer payments, you would select the bank transfer option on your eWallet account. Easy!
You can view your Global Payment Service details by logging into your Payoneer account, going to the “Receive” menu and clicking on "Global Payment Service". By default, you'll find banking details for USD, GBP and EUR currencies. Please make sure to use the details that you see for the currency that you want to receive funds in. If you add your EUR details when you receive payments in USD, it will cause delays in payments and the payment will be unsuccessful.
We also offer the JPY, CNH, CAD, and AUD currencies, which you can apply for on that page.
How Long Does It Take To Load To My Payoneer Account?
The rule of thumb is that all payments received through the Global Payment Service can take a total of 1-3 business days: 1-2 for us to actually receive the payment into our system, and an extra 1-2 to load the payment to your account.
Once you have received a certain number of payments, our payments department will begin to review your payment activity and line of work. They do this in order to get a better idea of what you do to receive payments on Payoneer, so it is very important that you complete the Global Payment Service Questionnaire if you intend on receiving payments using the Global Payment Service, including as much detail about how you receive these payments as possible. During the review period, which begins after you have received a payment, a payment can take multiple days to load. If you provide all of the information when it is asked, and it is sufficient, our team can conclude the review.
Please note, all payments you receive into your eWallet account and send to Payoneer should be for business purposes only. If you receive your payments for work that you do on PayPal, and send them to Payoneer, this is fine. Our team may ask for additional documentation and proof.
Note: if you find that your Global Payment Service access has been removed, it may be because your line of work is unsupported by Payoneer. To find out which businesses are supported and which are not, please review our terms and conditions under the clause "Prohibited Transactions".
I Have a Card, Can I Use The Global Payment Service to Receive Payments to My Card?
Absolutely! You don't need to do anything differently to receive the payments. The payments will just appear on your card, instead of a USD/EUR/GBP balance. There is no other steps that you need to take to assure that the funds are received to your card.
Can I Use My Global Payment Service Details To Make Purchases on eWallets, Like PayPal?
Some users will want to use their Payoneer account to pay for transactions made on PayPal, or on eBay, or some other type of website that allows payments through eWallets. This is not possible with these Global Payment Service accounts because they are receiving bank accounts only, and not actual bank accounts. They can only be used to receive funds, and not spend. Any transactions that show an attempt to charge these bank details will be declined.
This eWallet Is Paying Me In USD, But Requires A SWIFT/BIC. Where Can I Find That?
If you're receiving payment in USD and it asks for a SWIFT or BIC, this indicates that the eWallet sends payments using wire transfer. These Global Payment Service accounts are only equipped to receive payments with local transfers and not wire. Please contact that eWallet to make sure they can send a payment using a local transfer. If they can only send a payment via wire transfer, I'm afraid it will not work to receive a payment with that eWallet so we'd advise to use another one to receive the payment.
I Am Trying To Verify My Global Payment Service With An eWallet, But Am Waiting For A 3 or 4 Digit Code. Where Can I Find That?
Sometimes PayPal will send a 4 digit code to your account and a small payment, in a verification attempt. We don't suspect the verification will be completed because they will be unable to retrieve the small payment that they deposited to your Payoneer account. But sometimes the main thing that you need to know is the amount of the payment and the code.
In most cases, you would be unable to find the 4 digit code, although it is usually contained in the transaction description. When you open up the payment in the transactions tab, you should see the code. If you don't I would advise to either contact us here via private message so we can check, or contact our customer support. In most cases, we can't see much about the transaction, particularly the code if there isn't one. But sometimes we're able to see a code.
PayPal Won't Accept My Bank. How Do I Get Community Federal Savings Bank?
This is the most common issue with this that we see. What has pretty much happened over the years is that PayPal has slowly begun to not accept banks that are used by services like Payoneer, such as First Century Bank and Bank of America that have certain routing numbers. Why? Because when you add a bank account onto PayPal, they verify the bank account. They're unable to complete the verification on these bank accounts because they are virtual, receiving bank accounts, which means that they cannot be used to withdraw funds out of. You cannot make a payment with your Global Payment Service bank. Because of this, they've restricted the types of bank accounts that they allow.
Payoneer provides a bank called Community Federal Savings Bank that PayPal mostly allows. We can't guarantee this, as PayPal has their own guidelines, and it is also apparent that PayPal still does accept First Century and Bank of America bank accounts in some cases.
In the event that you find that your bank account has been declined from PayPal, please take the following steps:
1) Make sure that a card with money on it is verified and on your PayPal account. Why? Because if we give you another bank, regardless of what it is, it won't work without an alternate payment method on your PayPal account (which in this case, is a card). 90% of the issues that are faced by this instance are resolved by adding a card and verifying the account. Adding a card also allows a card to be verified instead of the bank. The card does not have to be a Payoneer card. It can be a personal bank card or a credit card.
If, and only if you have a card attached on your PayPal account, please do the following:
1) Take a screenshot of the error message when you try to put the old bank details on PayPal.
2) Contact our customer support team by opening a ticket.
IMPORTANT, don't forget to choose a relevant topic Receive Payments->Global Payment Service->I want to apply for additional receiving accounts in the same currency
Tell them the issue, and attach a screen shot that shows the error. Our team will get back to you with the new bank within 5 business days.
3) If you need this to be done quickly, and have done the above, please contact support via chat, or phone for a quicker response.
If it still doesn't work after you've received and added Community Federal Savings Bank, it means that you either don't have a card with money on your PayPal account, or you will not be able to use PayPal to receive eWallet payments. We can only provide you a total of 3 of these payment service details, so you would have to contact PayPal for further assistance. In some cases, they may have to unblock the Community Federal Savings account on your account, thus allowing you to add it.
If you have any other questions in regards to adding Payoneer to your eWallet, or any experiences that you may want to share, please feel free to do so in a reply to this thread. We want this to be the go-to place for any issues you may have regarding this topic. However, please note, as usual, that account-specific inquiries about this matter should be directed to support, and not here in the community.

Thank you!

Hey everyone! Newbie here ^^
I am an independent 3D tabletop miniature designer located in France.
I distribute my files online and I am paid in USD but I need EUR. My main source of income comes from Patreon and MyMiniFactory.
Patreon already proposes the Payoneer option and I will make the switch soon. MyMiniFactory is also considering the Payoneer alternative for its vendors.
Like a lot of people in my situation, I started receiving my payments through Paypal. I have a pretty high amount of USD on my Paypal account that I would like to convert to EUR but Paypal doesn't use the real conversion rate and charges a lot of money for this kind of operation.
I've been looking for a way to transfer my USD someplace else and convert it from there ever since.
I will completely switch to Payoneer very soon, but in the meantime, all that Paypal money is more or less held hostage until I decide to abide by their conversion rate or find a way to transfer and convert it someplace else.
I know Payoneer can convert currencies at a pretty reasonable price (0.5% of the converted amount, if I'm correct) so I'd like to do it there.
Is there a simple and efficient way to transfer my Paypal USD to my Payoneer account, though?
Thanks very much in advance!

I want a Citibank Euro account, to transfer my money from Skrill to Payoneer, as the transfer has been rejected before,
And I want to transfer my dollar account to a federal bank to transfer my money from PayPal as well,
thank you1 -
Hello, @Valentino_Payoneer thank you for your explanation.
It is very clear that it is necessary to have an alternate payment method on your PayPal. What I would like to be sure is if It must be a credit card or it could be a verified bank account (from another bank not related to Payoneer)?
Thank you for your support0 -
