So, your payment reflected on your Payoneer Account, but you notice it has yet to be approved, what should you do? Not to worry! We are here to provide you with some insight as to why your payment is pending and how to proceed

Why are payments stopped for a review?

Here at Payoneer, our payment approval team is regularly reviewing accounts so that we can assure that we as a company comply to the different regulations and laws that we're required to follow. This is the general reason when payments go into review.

Payments from affiliated companies

Payments received from any of our affiliated companies are generally reflected within the same day, depending on the loading option you selected. Sometimes, more information such as a government issued photo ID or a questionnaire pertaining to your line of business will be requested. In most cases, our team approves the payment once the requested information is provided given it is sufficient and fulfill the verification requirements. **It is best to upload any requested verification right away to avoid any delays in processing. **

Payments via the Global Payment Service or Payment Requests

If you received a payment from a company via the Global Payment Service, credit card or E-check payments, the process is very similar but sometimes these verifications can take a little bit longer. The reason being is that we are not familiar with the paying merchants or your clients, so it requires an extra step to ensure all types of payments are within our Terms of Service. Credit card payments may also involve requesting for more information from the client specifically. When this happens, it is important to stay on top of it and make sure that your client received the email and will provide the necessary information! Sometimes we will need for you to fill a questionnaire that answers a set of question regarding the nature of the payment. It is also best to answer this in as much detail as possible as well as to provide any necessary links you feel will aid us in understanding your line of business.

Making sure to check updates via email

In all cases, please stay updated on the status of your payment. It is important to ensure that you do not miss any emails from our support team if more information was indeed requested to proceed in reviewing the payment. You can check both your verification center and your emails as it will be notified in both cases.

General processing time and support team

It is also important to note that payment approvals can take on average 3-5 business days, not including the weekend. So if you received a payment on the weekend, the first day that counts as a review is the following business day. Our support team is always here to guide you and if you feel that you have waited too long without receiving an update, you are more than welcome to contact us and we will be happy to follow up on your case.

    I have 6 pending payments for around 1 month I need to know what kind of information I need to provide to receive my payments. There is no pending requests on my account, and I didn’t receive any kind of message from payoneer.

    Once the requested information is provided, it takes a few business days to manually review it and clear the payments

    Withdrawal to my bank account failed because of incorrect account number. Payoneer guidelines state that in such a case the funds would be returned to my account in about 14 days. It's about a full month now and now has happened, only automated responses to my requests are coming and they are really not helping. Kindly advise

    The funds were supposed to return by this time. Please contact Customer Support on the phone so that they will immediately check the current situation and open an investigation through the bank transfer department if needed.

    I have pending payments since June 2nd, I called Customer Support the other day and they said It's just a regular review and I should allow 2-3 days for it to be reviewed. It's been 3 days now.
    I haven't received any email from Payoneer regarding any verification, also no open requirements in the verification center.
    How long more will it take to release the funds?

    Looking at the comments, I'm pretty sure you're unfamiliar with the situation of Payoneer at the moment. Here's the short version of the story:
    Ex-CEO of Wirecard was arrested last week on suspicion of accounting scandal of €1.9bn (£1.7bn).
    Days later, Wirecard filed for Insolvency. As a result of this, Financial Conduct Authoriy (FCA) imposed requirements on Wirecard's Authorization.
    Payoneer Prepaid Mastercard® Card, which is issued by Wirecard's subsidiary, Wirecard Card Solutions Limited (WCSL), was also affected by this. FCA froze all prepaid card activity for the time being to investigate into the matter.
    As of now, It is not sure when the payoneer cards, or the accounts will work again. According to an email sent by payoneer, the funds in the payoneer account is unaffected by this temporary freeze, and bank withdrawal for account with more than $5000 balance can be withdrawn without any problem.
    BUT, this is not the case here. The bank withdrawal is also affected.

    Full email from Payoneer regarding this matter:

    "As you may have seen on the news, Wirecard AG filed for insolvency on Thursday. Your Payoneer Prepaid Mastercard® Card is issued by its subsidiary, Wirecard Card Solutions Limited (WCSL) in the UK. Today, the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) which regulates WCSL, issued requirements on WCSL, freezing all prepaid card activity for the time being. We believe that cardholder funds are properly safeguarded and that the freeze will be temporary.

    What does this mean?

    The FCA has communicated that they have taken these measures with the primary objective of protecting the interests and money of consumers who use Wirecard. Pending further actions from the FCA, you will temporarily be unable to withdraw the funds on your card, nor receive new payments onto your card.

    Any funds that are in excess of the maximum balance of your card are held by Payoneer and are therefore not impacted by the FCA’s temporary freeze.

    How can I get paid during this time?

    Any future payments that you receive from marketplaces, platforms and clients will not be affected by the freeze. These funds, and any others already on your virtual currency balance, are available for bank withdrawal.

    Same problem for me, they are not responding anywhere and they keep blaming the other end (in my case Amazon, who confirmed they didn't charge the card nor aren't holding an authorization)

    if you don't wanna approve just give my money back to my fiverr account you are trying to make fool ppl CS contact no reply always get automatic non sense answers no live chat option weird such a bad experience i just want my transaction back bad time when i chooses payoneer worst service send my money back to my fiverr ac when my ac was not ready why you didn't ask me these stupid verifications before when i made my transaction you put it on pending wow >.<

    Hey, I would like to know what's the longest time does payoneer take to process upcoming transactions. I have 3 pending transactions since 11th August. I've called support many times but the only response I get is "Your payments will be processed in 2-3 business days" or "keep checking on your email for the updates". Am losing patience now and I would like to know why I haven't received my money for that long. The support haven't even asked me for additional information or any verification for further processing of my payments.

    My fiverr withdrawal into my payoneer account is still on pending for more than 24hours while payoneer promised that it will take only two hours..please, I ask the playneer team to look into this issue.
    This is becoming very rampant..I need my money for my business!
