zeynepkose Member Posts: 2
It is the first time I am using payoneer. I am a freelancer and I want to request payment from my employer. When I click on Request a Payment, it requires me to submit my business details. However I do not own a business. I am just a freelancer, employee who wants to receive payments from his employer. What kind of account a freelancer should have?So should I switch to personal account? How can I do it the easiest way? Can you please help me about this issue?

    Hi there!

    Firstly, welcome to Payoneer!

When business details are requested, you do not need to own a business/company. It's simply asking for details on what type of work you do. What kind of business are you in? What type of freelancing work do you do that you're receiving payments for?

Since all Payoneer accounts are meant to be used for business/work purposes, you do not need to change your account type.

I hope this information is helpful, please feel free to contact Customer Support if you need further assistance for your account.

    Take care!
