Do I have to declare myself as the owner of a bank account in the US in paypal?

Hello community, I am from Ecuador in South America, normally I only used Paypal to make occasional payments with my credit card but some time ago I decided to start as a freelancer capturing payments from different parts of the world for digital programming and computer services, all through PayPal. My question arises because it has been going very well for me and I manage to bill approximately 4,000 monthly in my paypal account. The problem arises when I receive an email saying that due to the new tax returns, businesses that invoice more than 600 dollars per month have to pay taxes ONLY if they are within the US jurisdiction, in the form that I have to fill in ask me: are you the holder of a bank account in the US? (It should be noted that I have linked my payooner receiving account in USD to paypal to transfer the funds that I generate there and from payooner to my local bank). My question is: Do I have to affirm that if I am the holder of an account in USA? Or in whose name are the payooner receiving accounts registered? . Thanks for the answers. I read them

    Hi @enzuniga !

There's no need to declare in the USA that you are an account holder. In case you are requested though, we can provide a receiving account statement.

All receiving accounts will be on your behalf, therefore they'll be under your name.
