how to correctly calculate "request a payment" 3% fee on credit card

hi,
I was reading through the help on the "request a payment" service and I found out that if the client uses a credit/debit card there will be a fee of 3% that can be either paid by the seller or the client. I would like to have an example of how the system works in numbers. As per my understanding: if I requested a payment of 1000$, and the client chooses to pay the 3% then his final bill will be 1030$, otherwise, the bill will be 1000$ and I will only receive 970$, is this correct? because this will make a difference huge difference for me when i provide quotes/invoices/bills to customers

Hi @afedda , yes, it's exactly how you explained in your example.

For more details about this service feel free to visit this page or our fee list. You can also find your personalized fees in your online account under "Pricing & Fees" tab, located in the bottom left of the page.

I hope this helped and I wish you a great weekend!
