Newbie with Payoneer Card - Questions about the card and the overall balance.

Hi People!!!

I'm newbie with the card and overall to Payoneer. I do have some very specific questions about the card and how it works.

Lets say, for example:
- I have a total of USD 1.000 in my account.
- I set the minimum top up of the card in 500, and then I take it of, so it doesn't keep doing it automatically.
1- Will I have then my balance splitted between two separate things? Like 500 in the balance and 500 in the card as two separate things?
2- Or will it work as a regular bank account, that the debit card will make the debit from the total balance (up to USD500, of course)?

Other question using example above:
- Lets say that I put money on the card for just a USD 100 purchase. So I use 100 from the card (so 400 remaining in the card and 900 in total balance)
- And let's say that I need to make a transfer to a Payoneer Recipient Account of USD 900 from my total balance.
3- Will I be able to do that?

Would very much appreciate your responses to those "1, 2 and 3" specific questions.

Thank you again and have a great day!

Juan

    Hey there @Juanithlon
Thank's for asking about the Top-Up control

This feature allows you to turn on/off the card's top-up, allowing the funds to drift to your card according to your needs.

To set up your card's top-up, please follow these steps:

    1. Sign-in to your Payoneer online account
    2. Click on Payoneer cards, under the Settings menu.
    3. Locate the relevant card you wish to set up, and click on the cogwheel next to "Top-up".
    4. In the pop-up window turn the top-up on/off by clicking on the toggle. In this window, you can also set a custom top-up limit on the card.
    5. Finally, save your changes.

After you set up the top-up feature, please allow time for the funds to drift. This process can take up to 3 hours.

    For your specific questions :

    1) The card funds will be used first, when making any type of transaction on Payoneer, and you are correct the funds will be split to being on your balance and on your card.

    2) The charge you make on your card will come from your card.

    3) In general if you must make a transfer of $900 it should work without issue, but if you have any concerns there should be a notification telling you what needs to be updated, and if you are needing more information we will be happy to review it for you and explain what needs to be updated.
