Payoneer Global Bank Transfer To Pakistan

kashifmkashifm Posts: 18Member ✭✭

Got confirmation email from Payoneer on 4th April that my funds would take up to 3 business days to show in my bank account here in Pakistan and today is the 3rd business day (Friday/Mon/Tue) and nothing shows in my Bank account.

Should I wait for a day or two or contact Payoneer support?

Has anyone from Pakistan received the Global Bank transfer from Payoneer? and if yes, then how long it took to show in your bank account ?

Hi Nissim. I still haven't received the payment that was sent on 3rd April. I have used the contact form on your website to let Payoneer staff know about it but haven't heard from the support staff as well.

The transaction mentioned that it would take up to 3 days but today is the 7th working day and I have still not received my money. This was my first ever transaction on Payoneer.

Such a painful experience with Payoneer so far. You guys never used the IBAN that I provided and sent the payment to my local bank account number despite the fact that I had more than once provided you with my IBAN number through email communication and you guys continue ignoring and kept asking for a VOIDED check which I also sent you.

For this reason I have not received the payment yet and had to visit my local bank twice and even they told me that payment from other countries are received without any delay when sent to IBAN numbers.

I even contacted Payoneer via live chat to inform about this scenario and the chat was even worse than the email communication. I explained the entire scenario to the live chat support person and I was asked to wait for a while and then I was disconnected from chat. While waiting I received an email that by issue is being looked into.

Yesterday I received payment information from Payoneer and I had forwarded it to my bank account and they will do the tracing because you guys keep ignoring my IBAN number. This is such a shame for a financial service to neglect such simple yet important piece of information.

I am immensely disappointed with you guys and don't know if I can trust Payoneer for my future payments.

Hey, I advise you to get MT103 INVOICE from Payoneer and tell me Receiver Bank Name. Is it Barclay or any other bank? Then I will guide you further. This situation happened with me and I solved it with my own efforts by contacting local banks here in Pakistan.. Payooneer will not able to help you anymore. Please also tell me bank name you used for this withdrawal.

Payoneer charged me 2% and their correspondent bank also charged me 2%. So I paid 2%+2%=4% of the total amount.

My Banks is Standard Chartered Bank. I did receive a payment bank transfer receipt with payment IDs and reference plus a few other details such as currency/Amount/Country/Bank/Account number etc.

I have submitted it to my bank along with an application to trace this payment. They told me it might take up to 1 week to trace this payment it they have received it.

Payoneer support turned out to be not so sensible after all.

    Hi Bar,

Thanks finally Payoneer support has updated by IBAN number and assured that future payments will be sent to my IBAN number only.

Also my bank was able to trace the transaction so eventually I got my payment.

For those willing to know how much fees was deducted in this transaction, here it is:

Amount requested from Payoneer : $97.64

Payoneer Bank transfer Fees : $3

Exchange rage Up to : 3%

    Amount after Payoneer fees :$94.65

Amount in PKR after exchange : PKR 9,101/-

Amount received in Bank : PKR 8,347/- (Bank deducted almost PKR 754 for some reasons)

Overall not bad for receiving money quickly and not through check. This first transaction experience I rate Payoneer 3/5. I hope next ones are always 5/5 :)

My next one would be my first one.. Do you have any advise for a smooth transaction without any hassles?.. What was the issue in OP's case? I have an account with the same bank as the OP's.

Just make sure you provide Payoneer with 24-digit IBAN number (International Bank account number) and not the bank account number ( the one used locally to deposit money/checks). If you have provided just the account number then you have will to provide further details to your bank to trace the transaction and it will also take several days.

If you have provided IBAN number already then you should not worry and the payment will automatically be sent to your bank in 2-5 working days.

    Good luck.

    Hi,

The Global Bank Transfer service is open through specific partners, which may offer the service to their payees.

If you're working with a partner who offers GBT, you can choose to receive payments in this method (instead of the card, since you cannot have both card and GBT for the same partner).

    Dear Abdul Rauf,

Thank you for contacting us about our new Withdrawal to Bank Account Service! This is a new service that is not yet available to all Payoneer account holders, and we’re working hard to have it available for more Payoneer account holders in the near future.

We do apologize for any inconvenience, and if you have additional questions please let us know.

    Sincerely,

    Faiz

hi , I have a Payoneer account but i don't know how to withdraw money directly to my local bank account. In the withdraw menu, there isn't any option to withdraw to local account. I know that all new Payoneer account have this option by default.

Please can you enable/active this service in my account ?

Hi, since there is always a $10-12 cut per 20k transaction through ATM, has anyone tried using the recent LBT (local bank transfer) option for payoneer? if so please share your experience both cost wise as well as time it took for the process.

Please e-mail [email protected] so that we can look into this and assist you. It's possible that the funds are delayed in your local banking network, as we routinely follow up with all transfers to make sure they are sent without delay.

    Hello Taimr456,

Are you in Karachi? If there it's good you can't get your money this way.

I was received my funds after 2 months. This is not Payoneer fault.

There is some problem with our banking system in Pakistan. Ask Payoneer support for your MT-103 form. If the receiver name is BARCLAY'S BANK PLC LONDON GB.

Go to the Barclays Bank PLC Pakistan Head office located behind PIDC Building in Karachi with you MT-103 copy and meet MR. Anas Shakil there in remittance department he will help you.

BARCLAY'S Bank PLC Pakistan hold our funds. Than you get your funds to be transferred in your bank account and my advise is not to use Payoneer GBT service more. Because Payoneer send money through BARCLAY'S Bank PLC LONDON GB and BARCLAYS BANK PLC Pakistan is closing their operations in Pakistan. I have try to open an bank account their but they were not opening any new account and shut their services.

Hope this information will help you.

    Hi

Same issue here. I have requested withdraw $800 to United Bank Limited on Oct 28, 2014 and still not received it. My bank said we did not received any payment with transaction number I have. Payoneer also failed to solve the issue and still investigating. What a poor investigation service about their major issue. Is there some department in Payoneer who solve issue on high priority?

Well I am using Payonner since Jan 14, do not have any problem except paypal not linking my brother's card.

Regulatory systems in Pakistan is worst and our policy makers are Dumb a-- . Problem is with our banking system specifically and our country's regulatory system in general, as mediator bank is barcklyes and they are shutting their operations in Pakistan same like RBS, City etc due to economy and Zardarigardi, so your payment may be stuck in this transition.

I suggest to contact the person recommended by Tabish. I hope payoneer facilitator institution will soon contract with a bank having branch in Pakistan so we can have working bank transfer.

Because now Faysal Bank and Slandered Chartered have closed ATM withdrawals for Payoneer cards and all load is on MCB so there must be another option for Fund withdrawal.
